I am still a little unclear about where the idea for this came from. I was using images from a National Geographic magazine to make a birthday card, and next thing I knew it was four hours later and I was sitting in the dark cutting out small rectangles of color trying to find the right shades to highlight facial features. Another odd thing is that I did not have reference photo for this, it just came from my head and imagination.
